Hammer Café by Wolfgang Puck

Drop by the Hammer's beautiful courtyard for freshly prepared seasonal sandwiches and salads prepared with farmer's market produce and other locally-supplied ingredients.

Open Tuesday through Sunday 11am-4pm.

Bookstore

Named one of the best museum shops in 2006 by Los Angeles Magazine, the Hammer bookstore is renowned for its extraordinary range of books (including hard-to-find titles) on art, architecture and design. The bookstore offers around ten thousand titles, ranging from ancient art to cutting-edge contemporary art. The store also offers a unique selection of jewelry and gifts, and includes items handmade by local artists.

KCRW’s Ed Goldman declared the Hammer bookstore the best in Los Angeles in December 2005: “"The Hammer Museum bookstore has the best selection of art-related books in the whole city. On top of that they have a great gift shop full of original and very reasonably priced items."

UCLA students, faculty, and staff always receive a ten percent discount. Members of the Museum and Friends of the Graphic Arts also receive discounts.

The shop is open during regular Museum hours. To speak with a member of the bookstore staff, please call (310) 443-7063.
